At first glance I thought this shot was taken from the rim above Upper Muley Twist Canyon further south in Capitol Reef. Do you know it? It’s an incredible hike along the high rim with miles of spectacular views of the Henry Mountains to the west, the Fold to the north and south and the canyon below east. One day I’ll bivouac up there.
Hi Mark, no I haven’t been to Upper Muley yet, though I have been in the area there and I agree it’s spectacular! I’m sure I’ll hike Muley Canyon at some point on a future Utah road trip.
