On Sunday I arrived in Freiburg, in southern Germany. The next day Claudia took me on a hike in the hills above town. I was surprised and delighted to see the amazing autumn colors in the forest there! Absolutely beautiful!
Lots more photos below!
These were all shot with the Panasonic GF1 with 20mm lens. This is the first time I’ve processed photos on my laptop screen, so I’m not too sure how accurate the colors, brightness, and contrast are…
Jack,
Glad you’re getting out in Frieburg with Claudia!
Was just in Rothenberg a couple hours north of you this past weekend taking many pictures with colors just like this! Peak season for the region I’d say!
Cool imagery, Jack! Looks like you’re already settling in.
Great to see you getting out already to explore the area. Germany is a gorgeous country…you’re going to love it!
makes the autumn colors in ouray look pretty weak
Ha! Well, Paul, maybe you should go for a hike sometime! Btw, I’m been sampling lots of different hefeweisens here… so good… and so fresh and cheap too!
yeah that stuff just goes past in a blur, as i rip past on my dirtbike….
One word: Helmetcam.
Looks great! Glad you’re having fun 🙂
