Sunrise reflection at Alice Lakes, Sawtooth Range, Idaho.
Here’s another recent find from my archives, taken on the first morning of a 7-day trek through the Sawtooth Range in Idaho in August 2011, after a night of thunder and lightning.

Seriously- this is from your vault? This beauty would have sat front and center on my page from day one! Nice work, and way to throw off my summer vacation plans to see if I can squeeze a sawtooth trip in:)
Thanks Erik! I think the reason I passed this over the first time is because I had a similar photo from the same morning that I liked better, so I probably decided to only include that one. Now I like them both, and I feel that they are different enough to include in the same portfolio.
The Sawtooths are awesome… I hope to return someday too!
I like the blue calm of the other, but this is pretty epically beautiful by any standard, definitely deserves liberation from the vault! I sure miss Idaho….
Thanks Jackson. Yeah I hope to get back to Idaho and explore some of the other ranges that I’ve seen you photograph so wonderfully.
