Snowy Ridge

Brutally cold today up on a high ridgeline, with frigid winds and sketchy frozen windslabs. We hiked a long ways for not that great of a descent – at least compared to the sweet lines we’ve been getting lately. But as always the hiking and adventure were fun enough… at the least, chalk it up to training.

    Jack,

Looks like you’re not wasting any time getting in the moutains up there! I haven’t had access to internet in a while, so it’s nice to see you’re already posting some riding shots. Awesome! You left Ouray just in time for a San Juan blizzard!

How long does a trip like this take for you?

  • Jack Brauer says:

    Hi Sean,
This hike was 3,000+ vertical feet up, over about 5 miles total, bootpacking, no trail. It took us I think about 3-4 hours.
    Jack
