Great tales of an awesome adventure, Jack. Your Luxmore experience took me back to our visit there in '01 and the incredible forces of wind and rain ~ followed by a brief calm and golden sunrise. It's cool that you have the "luxury" of time to create your own rhythm for the trip - sort of Euro style instead of the harried pace of traveling Americans. I can't wait to vicariously experience your epic NZ adventure through images!
ps: Bring back lots of Vegemite. Mmmmm!

I'm not usually a freeloader, but this trip your enjoying is just too good not to come along for the ride, hope you don't mind. Tell me to get out and walk if your pack starts to pinch your shoulders a mite. ;)

Thanks heaps, JR

Oh, by the way, if you've never seen the snowgums here on the (Bogong) high plains (just accross the pond from where you are), you're missing a jewel in the neighbourhood.
