Well done Jack. Living by the beach is a little less sweet when I see stories like this. Bummer it's been a month since you got a dump, but looks like you're making do!

Thanks Seth and Justin! We've had some little snowfalls here and there, which with the wind's help, has blown around to create some decent powder; however, it's been almost a month since the last major dump!

Jack,

Looks like unbelievable terrain. I really love that first shot. When was the last time you guys had fresh snow up there?

This winter is a strange one. It's been "cold" here in Texas, really snowy in some areas, and not so snowy in typical areas. Anyways, this first shot in the series is sweet! It would make a good advertising poster.

Beautiful picture. I have never been in the San Juans in the winter but I would love to see it covered in snow.

Hello, Jack.

This is one fine light you captured here.
Love the subtleness of light on the sastrugi snow as well as that glowing peak.
Very nice work...and it must have been a real pleasure diving into the archives.

Best Wishes
Seung Kye

Jack, gorgeous photos, you work hard for them and it's well rewarded...

I guess that's if you call winter camping and climbing work, for you it's more like recreation and the photos are the icing on the cake. I'd give my left arm to be able to take ONE photo like that (have to keep the right one cause that's my trigger finger side).
